LONDON – During the 2012 London Olympics; fans will be facilitated to watch Olympic events on oversized screens in Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Park and Potters Field Park.
The London Mayor's office has advised events promoter Live Nation Music UK to arrange the four "Festival Live Sites."
The sites will present free screenings of Olympic competition, as well as concerts, cultural and artistic shows and exhibitions. But, reportedly, some of the concerts will be charged.
Mayor Boris Johnson says the live sites "will mean everyone can soak up the atmosphere and revel in the excitement of this sporting spectacular."
